Hogfather is one of my favourite Discworld stories and I never would have thought about this cross over but it fits in so well! You've even matched the style!
I just really loved this story! It's so sweet with that edge of sadness. Kíli saying Fiwí was the cutest thing ever. The kitten and Death asking if Dwalin had been naughty in a menacing way was great! Dwalin better watch where he steps around the new kitten or he'll have Death to answer to!

OMG. omg this is so beautiful and heartbreaking and I love it so much. It's got just enough funny and just enough heartbreak to make it perfect. Your humor is perfect, and the childish perspective is spot-on. I've already detailed to you which parts I really love, but... gosh wow I love this. I love this so much. Love what you have done with this prompt. Thorin doing his best to hold the family together when Dís just can't is such a lovely thought. I like him being both soft and a leader.
