Wow! I am so glad I stumbled upon this story.
I do not read fanfics that much (anymore), and I have not read that many Scorpion/Quintis fics, but three things
1) You have nailed the characters and their personalities so well. Im in awe of how "canon" this feels. I haven't read that many Quintis fics, but while quite a few of them have been written well, yours "gets" the characters the best. Your "understanding" of the characters and their personalities and mindset is just... wow!
2) I am reading this after episode 2x19 and thinking - THIS seems so familiar, and THAT seems so familiar. Its like the writers took small details from your story and added them to the canon...even if changing things a bit (hazelnut coffee... for example). Coincidence or a nod to your story - Who knows...?
3) Why have you not updated the story for over a year? PLEASE do consider continuing the story, or at least writing a short "final" chapter if you are completely out of ideas. Because while the last lines offer some sort of ending, it feel more like an end to a season, not to a series. It would be so wonderful to read where you take the story and the characters next.
Thank you for writing this. I especially liked Chapter 1. And was pleasantly surprised when I saw the story has more chapters...
And while I cannot identify with Happys "dream" at all (Ive never wanted kids, but I am raising two of them (not biologically mine... so the topic is familiar to me, even if I've never felt the biological clock ticking or felt the need to be nurturing... for me it is simply just going for the most logical option/solution to things), I am certain that this is so very very in character for her, and also for the Canon Happy.
