Looking at your CV, I am not surprised that you have written such degeneracy. It is nice to you to raise awareness of mental illnesses, but this shit sucks man. Absolute dogshit it has genuinely destroyed all my hope at finding a single good piece of FAN fiction in this dogshit category. I hate when writers cripple their main characters. This has caused me to lose interest in the story. Percy’s decisions are mostly there to forward the plot but they don’t really make sense. This makes it feel railroaded by the writer instead of the story flowing naturally. It’s a pet peeve of mine when writers do this. It’s not as bad here in this story but it’s even more infuriating when supposedly smart characters become suddenly very stupid just to have events happen according to the writers whim.
I’m curious though, Percy is obviously more powerful than any other characters we have met including the fates so why would he just march along to their tune if he doesn’t want to especially if they don’t explain? He has been through to much shit not to demand an explanation or refuse their orders. This is what I mean about decisions Percy makes that have no basis in reason or logic. Percy would not do this as he has no real respect for the three bitches that control destiny.
It doesn’t make sense to protect just over twenty people when world ending people who would kill millions to billions are on the move. Just blindly following the fates is beyond stupid when the order seems so retarded. Why would Percy follow the gods orders when they have proven time and time again to make very poor decisions. Every single Olympian is an idiot. Including Hestia as she has the age, power, and respect to have stopped her retarded brothers from doing some of the evil shit they did. Standing back and letting those things happen makes her just as culpable. The gods are supposed to promote and guide their domains and none do so expect sporadically or at best half heartedly. There are several examples of the gods, both in canon and history, directly violating their own domains. This more than anything to me proves they are not worthy to hold their thrones. Most of the gods commit more evil than good but then maybe that is just because they are a reflection of humanity? Does this excuse them for their actions? If they are a representative of peoples belief given form, it makes sense that they would be just as petty, pridefull and all the other traits and sins that humanity carries.
