I think that dream gives Rias, a summarized example of Archer's extensive struggle. I like the relationship that is being created between the koneko and Archer ... but I also tremble for what is coming in that school, if they go crazy with kiba, let them see the piece of meat, which is the brother of koneko wuaajajajjaa with good work!

Rias got a key detail wrong. A pawn (in real chess) can promote to any piece not just ones that have been lost. You can hypothetically have 9 queens, but realistically, it will usually end by 3 at the most (and it is rare for a player to have all 8 pawns by the late middle game to promote anyway).

ok, lets assume that reinforcement is a multiplier, (not a bad assumption, assuming every "natural" thing to have a "standard of imperfection" that is removed in the process.) this multiplier isnt going to be 1.5
shirou using only reinforcement was able to exchange blows with Lancer, remember shirou DOESNT have extensive superhuman training like some characters in the nasuverse at this point, he is "athletic youth" level of strength, somewhere between "base human" and "peak human (real)" no where close to "Peak Human (Nasuverse)"(significant differences between real human limits and nasu-human limits, people dodging bullets y'all).
a servant, even the lowest ranked one is stated to be at least 10x "Peak Human (nasuverse)"
setanta/Lancer ISNT a weak servant, his strength might not be the greatest of his parameters, and i can't find it now, but let's low ball it at a C rank.
if F rank is 10x peak human, and every rank up is an order of magnitude, C rank would be 1000x "nasu-peak human".
this is the only real thing we have that we can use to create a "standard" of reinforcement (shirou on his own body, remember inherent risks) and i think it should be quite clear that 1.5 is WAY of an underestimation, yes the two might not be perfectly comprable, but would ajuka really have found a way to draw THAT MUCH of the true potential out of his invention?

From what I know the Red Shroud was actually given to Archer by Ciel before he made a pact with Alaya...

Delighted to see this updated! ... I feared it was abandoned...
Anyway, the scene between Archer, Koneko, and Rias was well written and heartwarming - really liked it. And the sibling relationship between Archer and Koneko is absolutely tear-jerking, especially if one considers Archer’s previous little sister and Koneko’s previous elder sibling...
Really hope to see more of this, and will check put your other fanfics!

It was a pretty good chapter, I like the interactions between the characters, although koneko is a bit OOC in my opinion, considering she was left behind by her older sibling, I would have thought she would be hesitant to be Archer's foster sibling. But in any case about the shroud, it was never named, but people just assume it is the shroud of Martin considering it's similarities, another assumption was it was a shroud given to him by kotomine's daughter, was it Caren Orstenia? as for the abilities it might give him a modicum amount of magical and physical protection but that's it, I think? Hope to see more!

And yeah, it did feel too soon for the heart to heart. It's more to do with the pacing we feel as the audience rather than the pacing with respect towards the timeline. I will say though that you played it well enough that it's just a minor speed bump, so good job!
