Actually, we don't know offically) which one the holy shroud is, only that it serve to isolate from external environments (heat, snow, etc)
I also think it's strange for Archer to speak like it. he isn't usually one to talk about his past, he only does it when Shirou confront him with his identity. base to the point, it destroy his amnesia persona somehow.
Continue this story pls!

According to the first companion material - Fate/Side Material, Archer's Shroud is an unnamed Holy Shroud that, rather than boosting abilities or damaging enemies, confers upon the wearer a resistance to outside area effects by 'opposing the external environment'.

Oh gods. I will stop reading this fic if this is just one, big, and uninteresting info dump. I hate it when authors do that; it produces literally no sense on why would they bother on wasting a whole chapter for that instead of naming a specific chapter as "Information" or have us google it.

Well it have been over a year since you have update. Even still this is very good especially on how you do with the characters like Archer and Rias for example. Though I do think that Koneko relationship with Archer is a little too fast, but it is very sweet between them. Hope you update this someday when you have the time to do so.

This story is awesome! I especially love the chemistry of friendship that you're building with Rias and Archer.
However, I do feel that Koneko grew attached to Archer FAR too quickly. Other than that, I can't wait to read more!

I am so sad there aren’t more chapters for this. So far this has been an absolutely fantastic read. Arguably a bit heavy handed on the exposition, but that’s forgivable. Koneko latched onto Archer a bit too quickly for my tastes. I could easily see her embracing Archer as a big brother once she was more familiar with him - given her past experience with siblings I’m loathe to believe she would trust and care for him so implicitly so quickly. My only other point of concern would be the other Servants that could now exist in this world. Who they are and who they’re bonded to could easily turn out to be an annoying plot-point rather than an intriguing one if handled incorrectly (though establishing that there isn’t a Holy Grail War goes a long way is assuaging concerns.)
The dynamic between Archer and Rias however, I absolutely fucking love. Going beyond just how amusing they are in their interactions, their respective pasts and personalities work so damn well. Rias, as the girl with a dozen roles to fill be it King, Heiress, Buchou, whatever - she now has Archer as her dependable and stalwart rock that can both assist where needed and help her grow. While on the other side of the dynamic, Archer, the tragic hero that layers himself with walls of self hatred and regret gets the exceedingly kind and loyal girl to help him break down his walls and see the world for the colors it hasn’t once more. At leas that was my impression based on these first few chapters anyway (and yes, I’m a romantic, I know.) Ahhh, I want to see more of them!
Alas, over a year without an update... not exactly a length of time that serves to inspire confidence in this stories continuation. Nevertheless, I will hope for your return to this tale. Until then, it was a great read. Cheers, mate!
