I can see this backfiring on Booth as Brennan dominates the beer hat and tub. She will need to do some experiments to test out different scenarios. What is it like with beer hat, tub & good book ... Type of books ...types of beer ... Swapping out beer for various flavored wine coolers ... The various combinations are numerous. Yep ... If Booth wants to get his beer hat back he better get Bren her own. At least he has his first item to add to his Xmas list. If he can hold out that long. ;D

I loved this. Well written, Brennan was very in character. I also felt a strange sort of joy when you briefly mentioned Sweets funeral. The response from the non-Sweets-fans has been... Yeah. But to see you even briefly mention it makes me both happy and sad.
As for Brennan's evolution and it's effect here in the fanfic world. I really love Brennan's evolution as a character, it has been a bit of tough journey and each character in the show has contributed to her becoming who she is. Booth introduces these emotional situations and Angela and Hodgins, mostly Angela, and sometimes Cam, try to help her and normally confuse her. Sweets would spew out a bunch of big shrinky words and she would understand that a little better but then she would diss his profession and move on, even though she, like the others, would take his advice his advice anyway fifty or more percent if the time. Even with all the evolution she has been through, I agree she still has a lot of interesting character depth left. Booth and hers relationship is still very interesting and the evolution of both Brennan and the couple as a whole has defentily effected the fanfic world. It's clear in the content of many the fics. And it's beautiful to see :3
