Love this. Wish you would make it into the beginning of a story. I particularly like the dialogue. They felt in character, even as they warmed toward each other. I like that Hermione stayed skeptical, despite her thoughts which were running ahead of her. The lurching from polite to snarky was funny, but also seemed real.
