Heh, love how he gets claimed by the baby, and that the door-locking little git suddenly turns into his biggest fan. I should think so too.
Quite cool that he gets the beginnings of a protection ring with the paramedic, and I'm still laughing out loud about Monroe bringing bud back to planet earth when he winds up talking out loud. Tee hee. Love how fast team Grimm mobilises!

Really enjoying this. I love BAMF!Nick, and his friends' loyalty and the way they work together. Hank not being surprised at Monroe's tactic of the four Wesen being in woge when they meet the Doc. And I love the scared-but-couragous Eisbiber guarding Nick's door. Why wasn't Juliet one of the one's Nick wanted called? Is she out of town or something?

Excellent! Glad to see "Team Grimm" gather up and head for their friend. Loved Hank being all "large and in charge" right off the bat. And the Wesen considering themselves "Pack Grimm" out of hearing range of Nick, of course. Hilarious and too cute. These are his friends, advisors, supporters, partners. A contributing reason for his attitude to, success with, and support from the Wesen in Portland. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds in this town. Glad to see they found a much needed supporter in Dr. Holloway. She knows what's going on, I think.
And can I just say that I love the ringtone for Renard on Hank's phone! LOL'd at that.

This is a great story!
Though, in some instances, it gets a bit wordy. But that's just the way you write it. Sometimes it sidetracks off enough to be confusing.

you did the excitement well, here. a nice balance too between Nick's mental antagonism towards unhelpful people and his need to help them at the same time. And oh Lord, that tumble off the cliff's not going to be good...
I think that Hasslich lady needs lessons on how to communicate in an emergency ;)

This chapter made my week. And I am claiming that even though it's just Monday.
I adored all the OCs and their POVs. I kept rereading to catch all little nuances. Minute reactions, passing on the "OMG Grimm!" message' along 'normal' channels etc.
What this made me looking forward to in the story is the perspective of Wesen communities. I rather hope that we get to see not only how a new group will react to a Grimm in their midst but also a collision of community that got used to having a Grimm functioning as an arbiter and protector and the one that is still in the 'horrible monster' mode as Sera's preconceived notions show.
All in all, though this may seem trite, excellent story quality. In all honestly, that was what delighted me the most after reading this chapter

R.I.P. Griffin. You did god in moving the plot in right direction.
'Grifted', that was interesting. Why did he feel uneasy? Because acceptance of it was too instinctual?
'Chill', 'temper' and other, let's say calling on the aspects of grifts, were fascinating. Few things I love more than exploring the Grimm nature.

Quite a promising and enjoyable start.
It was nice to see Nick's honest perspective in a position most of us found ourselves in at least once - a caller at the end of our workday that just won't get to the point.
Lovely surprise when he mentioned his 'service to the Wesen community'. A bit of glimpse of Grimm-Wesen dynamics, in a form of a growl!, that I wish both you and the show would explore more.
In addition, it's heartening to see that author know the subject matter as references to events and individuals like Jinnamuru Xunte show.

Just now able to review chapters 2&3. Fabulous! Very canon compliant and wubbie Nick. Loved the rescue scene. It was so descriptive that I could see it happening. The reactions of the family were just as I would imagine a real situation happening. The terror from the accident and tipping down the mountain and facing a Grimm at the same time. The EMT's actions and the infant not letting go of her savior were realistic. Seems a very dangerous situation for Nick, besides the injuries. Watch out for supremacist Wesen! Great chapters! Look forward to more when you are ready.
