This is a very cute idea for a story and I love stories from Emily's perspective. Victor almost gave her the rose by the piano! He came so close! A shame this story was never finished but I still enjoyed reading it.

DAAAAAMN! So, never mind, Lord Barkis clearly retains his bad guy status. Great chapter! Why the heck would he still want to kill Victor if he poses no threat to his wealth or plans, though? This is happening so quickly!

Hmmm. Interesting how you portrayed Barkis here. I love the shark and wounded seal metaphor, but then why did you add what he said, and that he said it miserably? Is he gonna be a villain in this story, or will it turn out he really loves Victoria?

you just what you need to do! don't worry about us, just focus on school and work. it looks like you have a really heavy load so just focus on yourself and worry about rewriting later when you're not piled with things to do. :)
