What a fantastic one shot. I love everything about it. I can't remember how many times I re-read it, and still continue doing so.
It may sound sappy and corny, but I love the drama, the intensity of how they felt was written perfectly, not the usual keeping all the feelings in because Max or Fang do not want to show weakness. For freaking sake they're humans (98% lol), it's okay to show emotions and besides it's just the two of them, what should they hide? They would be back to being the sarcastic Max and the irritating Fang eventually, this is just the moment of their reunion after four years and what a perfect scene it was.
