A bit rushed in the end with a confusing mix of past and present tense, but overall a satisfying story. If you had portrayed more feelings, it would have been more entertaining. I would have liked to know what Vincent was thinking when Re-L kissed him in the beginning scene. And why after that they were more sure of their travelling direction, especially why they decided to head south?

An interesting idea. While you're English could use some polishing that is only a minor complaint. Other than that, Re-L was slightly out of character since she is literally in capable of showing much affection at all. Regardless however, still an interesting concept.
