Good stuff man. My only ~real~ issue is that this didn't really have to be a D&D setting. This seems more "tech" than "magitek" if you get what I mean. Honestly, it isn't very fitting for Spelljammer. More of a Dragonstar setting, since that's a bit more science-y than magic-y. But still, well done.

You need a proof reader. Your story is well done, I liked it a lot. Good blending of fantasy & science fiction. This is the first story I really liked.

It read as if I were listening to someone tell the way, rather than show and allow me access to follow along. Without the Author Note..I might have been speculating it to be a sci-fi dnd, but just as some players go through... Laxidazzical moments. Still the writing was sound and could follow it. So overall, good work.
