It had been a while since I read a chapter of This story, so I had a little catching up to do. But so glad I did. Really liked the chapters with the yacht the wedding and Erin's first day back at work. I think there's more to the shoulder but hope nothing serious.

So glad Erin is ok physically but I'm sure this is messing with her mind. First day back and already staying late,not wanting to go home i fear trouble is coming. Thanks for another great update and no cliffhanger this time. Also thanks for sticking with this story till the end,you should give lessons to some writers who start but never finish.

Really Erin finally goes back to work and you end with a cliffhanger,bravo for that even though I wanted her to stay home but I guess this was always gonna happen so I really like the update but don't give us and Erin a heart attack her first day back. Can't wait to see what happens and Erin is ok. Please update soon,don't keep us hanging to long.

I like that you include Chase more but when I look at the number of chapters this story has I ask myself what your future plans are?
I get the feeling the fic isn't really moving forward. Yeah you include Chase which brings a huge breath of fresh air into the story, but I also think he is there because readers asked you to include him. And b/c the story isn't really moving forward (in my pov) it makes it so much harder for you as a writer to provide us with original stuff which is totally understandable after more than 270 chapters. No offense.
My question is: Is there more to tell? Or is it time to end it? The kids are STILL too young to actually work with their characters and there isn't happening much except of a wedding or birthday party here and there. A little bit of drama is thrown in the mix but no...no story-plot really. It seems like a daily life journal of the Severide family. Is it what the fic is supposed to be? I dunno...
In my pov this story is already too long and should have been finished a long time ago.
Fics where Erin has the perfect daughter family is nothing new and in the pace this story is moving indicates that there won't be any more children.
I'm not criticizing how often you update. I have read about your situation and understand that you have more important things on your plate right now.
I'm rather talking about the story itself. After 270 chapters Shay is still just two, the baby still a baby...family fics which are SO long are rare, because it is so difficult to write without repeating yourself.
A few bigger time jumps would have been good fot the story because inbetween there isn't happening alot. Chase is a good alternative for right now but how long will it last?
Do you even have an idea about how long this story is supposed to be?

Nice chapter, I like the way the trip is set up. However, I am kinda surprised that he simply lent Kelly his Yacht, if they are not friends anymore...

I like this whole adventure,liked everyone being there, everyone having fun but man Erin has got to ease up and just enjoy the time with her family before work drama starts. Loved the update can't wait to see what's next.
