Hmmm...I really didn't think she'd go through with it, at least to the point of acknowledging that she'd be gone long enough to warrant a permanent replacement. She wouldn't be able to come back if the unit is fully manned, I don't think.

And I'm loving reading Voight as a big softie! I know what Kelly said to Katie had to hurt her terribly, but after he got home and tried to apologize, I'd have hoped she'd realize just how distraught he surely was, and try to forgive him for what he'd said. Okay, thank you, the baby appears to be okay. And Erin, conscious or not? How bad is her head wound, and did she suffer a concussion?

Listen, I'm sure any patrolman (woman) who's gotten a taste of working up there with that unit would love to move in to take over a vacancy (in this case, due to maternity leave), no matter who they'd be replacing, or how much they like them. So, while I like Burgess, I'd feel the same way Erin does. The Escape replaces Kelly's Mustang. What does Erin currently drive? Do you know there's even car air fresheners called "New Car Smell"?! Poor Erin! She should try saltine crackers and water to ease the 'morning' sickness. I know by now Baby Severide # 2 has surely already been born, so that's really a moot point, so keep that in mind for baby # 3. I am only half-way there, but have to review as I go, not to where I should be!

I think they should be far more vigilant when they go to that pawn shop area, and wearing their vests should be first on their minds. Somebody's probably watching them every time they show up. At least the POD on the power pole will be safe from destruction. I really hope Erin and Katie hit it off. And, that she doesn't stay beyond what's a comfortable time.

I'm glad she had a really good reason for telling Voight she was pregnant before she was able to tell Kelly. So now, let's hope she can stay out of harms way.

I can't believe she wouldn't tell him! Geez, he's a big boy. I swear she makes me nuts, how she discounts him so often. Had to laugh, though, the announcement about Katie would serve as sufficient pay back, if it were me!
