One word: hilarious! This story offers a wonderful and unique perspective on Gandalf's character and made me snicker so often I'm pretty sure some people suspected I was sneezing in a very weird way... Thanks for writing/posting this!

I cackled at Saruman's observations and Gandalf's obliviousness. The old fogy is totally a Baggenshield shipper, I can tell in his letter. I'm sorry I haven't read the past few chapters, I thought I'd reviewed number 15 and so didn't think much of it when I only saw my review from number 14 updated. But I'm still loving this, and I look forward to the next installment!

OH CRAP! I'm just as surprised as you! One movie down! (le gasp) are you going to do LOTR too? That would be just epic! Bonus chapter I am guessing is what happened between the carock and Beorn's appearance, right?
Now... Please tell me this isn't going to go Thilbo, please! I really love this, and I've made a promise not to read any Bagginshield things, and this is really good! I don't mind others of the company hinting at it, but as long as it doesn't happen, that's fine... I've got nothin' against gays, it's just I don't like that pairing... a lot... Thanks for letting me rant!

BEST SENTENCE IN THE FICTION! No, not quiet... I'm sure there'll be more in there, but so far, that sounds like the best! And Saruman's reaction to the 'ring' was priceless. Maybe Gandalf could go blonde for a moment and skip right over Saruman's question? Just a thought... MORE PLEASE!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I absolutely LOVE when Gandalf completely ignores Saruman's one-worded warnings. Even more in this chapter because of the end and the subject matter. XDD
