Everything's good except for one little thing: I feel that Ichigo is being weakened in this story. Ichigo is the special one, the one who beat Aizen, the powerful one, and I feel like he's being underestimated and shoved to the side too much. I get that Tatsuki is supposed to be the main character here, but it bugs me to see Ichigo weaker than he is. Other than that, I'm glad how much more in character everyone is and the rest of the story is great.

Awesome! At first I didn't like that Tatsuki was now the special one instead of Ichigo, but that was mushed when I saw how much more in character Ichigo was. I think this is one of the best chapters so far, it's in character, it's REALLY well written, and the explanations for everything make sense. Great chapter.

Just to let you know , the bounts aren't actually canon in Kubo's story, just in the anime not the manga. Nice job though, I like your idea. I'm still here waiting for Tatsuki to get some type of power like the rest of them in the manga so I really like how you brought it up :)

That was really good, especially the big fight scene. Tatsuki wielding a boomerang and the fact that her zanpakuto's name is Simba is kinda funny. Not in a bad way, just in a surprising and neat way.

I like the hollow descriptions in the beginning, but it seems unlikely that they would attack the old man because he doesn't have much spirit energy if he couldn't see them. Rukia also has more of a dark violet/black as her eye color, so blue seems a little too bright. At various times around the story the word "to" is used in place of "too", so that should be fixed. The explanation about the outcast criminals in the Void was really good, and so was the lion part at the end. But if a zanpakuto is born with its soul reaper then how has the lion seen humans before? It eluded to that when it said that mere humans couldn't stand in its presence. Long review right there, and it's kind of picky, but I have to be picky because the rest of the story is great. ;)

Yay! Rukia and Renji arrive! By the way, Ichigo seems too... watered down, too teacher-like and less Ichigo-like, if that makes any sense. He just seems a little OOC.

Another good chapter. When you mentioned the lion and the way you describe him, the only image I get is Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia. Could be wrong though, but anyway keep up the good work.

Orihime can't die. And Ichigo wouldn't just sigh at the end like the whole thing was a drag. I like the idea of that villain, but he should've just injured his opponents at the worst.
