Awww, this was really cute! It's hard for me to imagine Myrrh with anyone, though, since she looks like such a little girl .

Haha, I hope Cookiecheeseman liked this! Me, I'm not so big on Ephraim and Myrhh (cause Myrhh is so young-or looks and acts like it, at least), but it was well written, so I give this a thumbsup :D

Well, here I am! Let's get started with the review, shall we?
Can trees rustle without sound?
Apparently "large" is a word you can easily associate with Myrrh somehow! Impressive
Ephraim let her stay... BECAUSE HE WAS IN LOVE WITH HER! Hurray for Captain Obvious!
Something about Ephraim rhetorically asking his father whether he was foolish or not seemed really sweet for some reason. He probably never got the chance to really talk much to his father about girls, (except maybe something like "why aren't I allowed to be attracted to my sister?" or some other weird question) and now, he wishes he could get some advice he'll never receive. Profound stuff!
Forde is the woman MASTER
Eirika will NEVER lose the authority to roll her own eyes
Eirika has never talked about another man the way she talks about Forde, hmm? "Oh Forde... he has such a weird nose, but his eyebrows are amazing!" Well, probably not THAT.
EVERYONE HATES INNES
Ephraim. The Man. The Movie.
Ephraim's question about being selfish and happy or noble and sad is quite profound!
ANOTHER thing Ephraim never got to ask his dad! Talk about beating a dead horse! (wow, that was a REALLY lame death joke)
I never took Eirika as an eavesdropper, but it works, I think!
Forde has creepy ideas for his paintings. He'll probably put it beside the other hundreds of paintings he secretly painted while spying on Eirika in various settings
Clearly Ephraim forgot that Myrrh's wings actually work
"'I...I can't love you,' she said, as if the words physically hurt her." BEST. LINE. EVER. Seriously. It's such a powerful line for any fic, let alone one that has controversial love involved. That line made the fic right there!
The "harsh reality" line before the horizontal line is profound as well! Where are you getting all of these?!
I'm trying to come up with ANY reason why Forde would even consider cutting off his arm
Wow, Eirika is really insightful!
Ephraim. Not the King. The Movie.
Wow. What a fic. Definitely some of your best work! You had some standout lines in there that really added to the piece. I don't even know where some of this epicness comes from. Clearly, you thought about how to make this work, and I'm glad you put that effort in!
A small point of criticism: I can't see Myrrh as a woman. I just can't envision her as one in my mind. I think the term "girl" or even "young woman" would have been a much better word to use, but maybe that's just me. Who knows?
Either way, thanks a lot for making this fic for me and pumping up A Glimmer of Hope! I hope you enjoyed the fic I wrote for you too! We'll have to do this again next year! Seriously, you did a great job, and I'm happy this is part of the tiny vault of EphraimxMyrrh stories on this site! You did them justice!
Now, you'll have to excuse Ephraim and Myrrh as they go off and conceive Tarif and Fayette behind a tree.
10/10 Woo hoo!

Since I have three sets of opinions on this, I'll divide them into categories.
Thoughts as a viewer: So... did Ephraim just abandon his Kingdom for Myrrh? I mean, Eirika's still there, but... Love does strange things to people. I have a feeling that will cause almost if not as much an uproar as if he married Myrrh and remained King. I'd be more than interested in reading a sequel.
Thoughts as a Fire Emblem writer: Like all of your stories, this is well written. The only non-minor mistake I found was 13 lines from the end: "Forde muttered a, "What?" and ... away.". I don't think that comma was necessary. The others were just tense errors and the like (i.e. last line: "... Ephraim acknowledge that it ... day."). I think everyone is in character, but I haven't played FE8 in a long time, so I don't quite remember everything.
Thoughts as a Fire Emblem fan: I was never one for the whole EphraimxMyrrh thing. Not because it's humanxdragon; but because of their ages. While Myrrh is technically centuries older than Ephraim, she has the body of a young girl, not an adult, so it just doesn't make sense to me. For the love of God, it would be like Roy marrying Fae!
