YES! Ugh, I miss this dynamic between them so much. And after reading this, I can't fathom how Cassandra wouldn't have this reaction. Of course it would have been devastating to her! Aww, how neat! Loved the psychological banter between these two. They're definitely kindred spirits when it comes to genius just on opposite ends of the spectrum, Cassandra excels in math, science, and logic, while Jacob's forte is art, history, literature..etc.
I wonder if their relationship will exceed anything beyond friendship in the future or if Baird and Flynn will be the show's only pairing..

This is really well written! I love all the references to literature and mythology. I think you captured the characters really well. I like to think all the LITs have their own little sanctuary in the Annex. :)
