Interesting thing with the archetypes: I couldn't decide if they were assigned for any particular reason, other than Jones, of course. At first, with Cassandra being the confident one and Eve the princess, I wondered if they were getting the archetype least like them selves, but then that didn't work with Jones, or Stone for that matter. Then I thought maybe, just maybe, they're hinting at what is below the surface, and because Jones is so extrovert you already see what is below the surface with him, like with the apple of discord, so he's just the same.
Love the way you're shifting from one to the other here and the thought processes linked to the on screen canon are exactly how I imagined the characters feeling. I haven't written anything for this fandom yet, but I have an idea in mind that I can't shake and I'm considering it. It's just finding the time to start, never mind finish, the thing! My writing has dropped dramatically in the last few years too!

Great exploration of their complicated relationship. I do kind of wonder how the show is going to resolve this trust issue they have. I enjoyed this interpretation of it and hope to see more from you.

I love this show, and I already ship Cassie and Jake so bad it hurts.
I think you're doing a fantastic job with the story. It sounds just like them, completely in character. Even Cassie's mind working on word association from Prince Charming to Jake in chapter one.

If given the same opportunity, in different circumstances, could Cassandra not betray the team again to try to save herself? The urge toward self-preservation is strong! And Jake understands that, I think. He does know that in any given fight, she does have his back. But if the chance arose for her to have her brain back, she's take it. Who among us wouldn't? I like the idea that that possibility is always there now. Cassandra may be hurt that Jake doesn't trust her, but he's OK with it because he may know her better than she knows herself; he'd forgive her again for betraying them all for the chance to live. Well-written story - obviously thought-provoking! Not your average fanfic!

This episode was the best. The Prince Charming- Merlin, huntsman-robot, and princess- ninja thing was my fav part. And I ship this forever.
Oh and am I the only one who thinks they stayed the same even after all was said and done? Like Cassandra with her magic? Did that also mean that the other two were still a ninja and a robot? Cause that would be so cool. Oh, now that would Shake things up. Imagine those adventures! Ugh I just love this show!
But back on topic, this was just so cute:) also angsty in the appropriate parts. I ship it so hard. Well done:) charming if I do say so myself;)
