This story is intriguing, but so sad ;_; I got a bit choked up when Clark revealed he and his family were going to America. His friendship with Layton is evident, even if he knows something is wrong with Layton.

I had a similar idea to Luke's move even though I found out that the soul reason the Professor's apprentice had moved was because his father got a new job, I just made the baby sister thing a bonus reason.
I agree he would make a fab big brother.
...nice alternate universe, btw. It's rather sad but understandable.
