Who in their damn mind would be? And I can't believe but it took me now to realize how stupid Sakura really was.
Her response to Naruto was just what Shika deducted, it's like she always expected him to fail. Is wasn't only ignorant but also selfishly foolish. She was talking as if she was consoling herself with those words & showing Naruto how little his words mean.
Like she never believed Naruto was capable to keeping his words.
As if indirectly taunting Naruto, like, so what if u failed, it was expected that u'd act like a reckless little academy kid & get hurt.
I don't care about giving u a 'get well soon' or 'take care of urself' or 'I believe in u Naruto, after all the time we spent as team 7, I've gotten to know one thing, it's that u never give up, so I trust u did ur best & I'm not upset at u.'
But no, she's being ignorant to his & the whole squad's hardwork.
Like 'oh it's a beautiful day, ur word doesn't matter so just give up & enjoy, I'll cry & act pathetic about Sasuke like usual. But bcuz Ik I've been useless, it's time for my character development.
