Doesn’t he canonically get death threats too? When I was watching the Garry vs Naruto shitshow I remember the flashbacks with death threats going to both children. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but that would easily support that bit of Fanon. If the villagers are comfortable giving death threats, then they are more than capable of glaring at him. My problems with Sakura are the endless cruelty she pours on Naruto for zero reason and how inconsistent she is. One moment Sakura is boasting about how much more powerful she is, the next Sakura is screaming for help. Sakura is praised for being smart, the next Sakura is making an incredibly dumb decision.

Life as a jinchuuriki is considerably harsher than you think. The anime is subtle about it but the clues are there. The glares and whispers as Naruto sits on the swing. Other teachers encourage Iruka to ignore Naruto. The shopkeeper who threw a mask into Naruto’s face. Now let’s dig a little deeper, as Kakashi says “ look underneath the underneath.”

First of all I apologize. I do not remember what I said that was scathing enough to strike a nerve, I will say that I apologize if it was too rude. I won't apologize if it was enough to stir you back onto this fic. This is truly one of my favorite fics and to see you pick it back up is a fantastic thing to me. This fic is extremely well written and I would love to see it play out. Like I said I don't remember my previous comment but if it was rude it was only because i felt strongly enough about where this was going that i was mad that it stopped. I think you have a great thing going here and I hope you do decide to continue it. I read alot of Naruto stories and it is not very often where i get annoyed at an author letting it die... I only hope you can take my previous review as a possible sign of what such a good thing you had going here. I remember listening to this story on YouTube a few years ago and was saddened to see that it hadn't continued.
I really loved your take on the story and how much you changed the Canon and how Kakashi was more lively and not an emotional wreck. I also liked how Naruto and Co interacted more with the other teams and how that affected everyone else. I loved the idea of Naruto going to Sand for a bit and I was in love with Naruto turning into the great bridge builder. Your story was just so different in the best ways possible and I am so happy to see you back, even if I'm a couple months late.
I am so sorry for your struggles and I hope you're mental and emotional health improve and that be able to get on you're feet again. I don't know what you're going through now, but if I may make throw out an idea, maybe reading the Bible can help you heal. I know I'm just another nobody on the internet, but I have found the bible to be helpful and encouraging when I'm depressed. I don't know your condition or struggles, but I just wanted to recommend it anyway.
I really do hope you improve and return to some form of normalcy.

Ahh so I have no problem with your changing of ryu. I just want to inform you that the whole 1 ryu 10 yen introduces the logical falacy that you should compare prices of goods to yen to see how much things are worth. How ever that doesn't always work. Like if you go to India or Mexico and convert the prices to USD in your head you will be astonished at how cheap and affordable a slot of things are. However that is only because yo inserted a foreign currency into the economy. For instance I watched a YouTuber rent a really decent capsule type hotel in India for 8.50$ a night and your mind is blown cause it really is a decently good hotel. Then you read the comments and someone actually from India is complaining that 700 rupees is to expensive they have stayed in way better hotels then that. Then you realise just how going to some where with a different currency can really screw with the value of things. Because people are played with the currency of where they live and pay based on that. So as long as the prices of things match what you are paid that is all that matters. For instance a loaf of bread now costs 5000$ but the average wage is 20000$ an hour that bread is now affordable instead of ridiculously over priced. For all we no prices of things in the Naruto reflect the payout of a d rank

Loving the story so far, it's awesome.
I might be wrong but I thought naruto had less usable Chakra not more, because a large portion of it was being used to hold the kyubbi at the time. If he wasn't keeping the seal intact with his Chakra, Naruto would've had more available to him. Maybe it was anime filler, but i remember in shippuden kakashi said something along those lines when they were training for the rasenshuriken. I think it was the beginning stages of cutting the leaf in half with wind nature energy.

His legacy in a foreign village is going to be “that teenage boy who came in and single-handedly caused an infrastructural and economic revolution.” I definitely want to see that referenced later!
