This was beautifully written, thank you. I really liked the way that you included how the way Valentine behaved with Jace was influenced by how he'd been treated as a child, so very true in real life. (It made me cry a little bit, too.)

Great chapter! It made me like Valentine more than the previous chapter did. It was interesting how Valentine was debating with Jocelyn in his head, and I liked seeing both Jace and Valentine's perspectives.

Another great chapter!
It is interesting to see Valentine thinking of Jocelyn as Jace's mother, and then in the future (in the books) when she meets Jace she never liked him. I guess she just saw too much Valentine in him and couldn't get past that.
I love the fact that you made a point that Valentine saw Jace as his real son even though he isn't by blood.

I like this one, though not as much as your other stories. It isn't your writing - your writing is really good. I think it's just because I like seeing the nicer side of Valentine, because we don't see much of that in the books, since he's the villain. But this was pretty good, and I hope you keep writing Valentine and Jace stories!
