Ok first, Misty being able to beat both Sceptile AND Infernape is kind of bullshit. I get Kingler, but those other two are on completely different levels. Second, how do you know Ash doesn't keep in contact with his other friends? There's something called off screen time you know? It's not just because they don't show up (which only happens because the show has to focus on the new traveling companions. This is not a character trait of Ash, it's just the writers doing the obvious thing) that they don't matter. Stop assuming Ash is an asshole even though you have no idea if he actually did something or not.

I really don’t understand why ash doesn’t use stronger Pokemon to take out Team Rocket..He’s fighting the admins of TR and you have him send out a Riolu and a Donphan?!
not only that but him NOT using his Aura in a battle because of an “unfair advantage” is absolute bullshit! He’s taking down a Crime Syndicate! You use every advantage you have!
45 chapters and you’re not even halfway through the story too. Makes me think that this is never gonna get finished.

I pick Sabrina. Ash saves her from her darkness and from being a monster. She's a super powerful physic, and it wouldn't be a shock if she had a thing for him. Couple that with her bringing an interesting edge to the group (and she's prob still not good at dealing with people so dealing with Ash's group would probably help her out a bit) and some creative problem solving.
