I only just found your story yesterday and have read all 79 chapters in 2 days. I really like that you cut through a great deal of angst that beset the original show. That angst kept me coming back week after week to the original broadcast but your version is emotionally cleaner, and I like that. The show kept us all wondering "will they, or won't they?" and when we were convinced that they would, the question remained "OK, when?". That's a delicate path you didn't need to take and I'm glad you didn't. Innuendo and subtext make me crazy. I much prefer clear speech with a little emotional nudging required on occasion.

Your telling of this story is fascinating. Your work to modify the tv series is superb. Certainly, it must be a stain for you to keep this going so masterfully with your adaptations while keeping some semblance for a life. We truly appreciate it. Thanks.
