I always thought Beckett's ego was much bigger than Castle's and that is saying something. Like Lockwood cared one iota she came to the prison each week. A guy like him is not going to flinch because of some NYPD cop. Look how easy Maddox kicked her ass. Lockwood would have done the same thing. Her going to the prison was a huge waste of time.
