I love this story, but I wish people wouldn’t harp on Harry for things out of his control. Whether he provoked Ron or not, and I lean severely toward ‘not’, verbal attacks do not constitute physical ones. Ron was the one verbally berating Harry, and all Harry did was stop putting up with it. If the only thing keeping Ron’s hands to himself was the fact that Harry was ‘still friends’ with him, then I would assume Ron had been searching for a reason to start a brawl. And you had already established that Ron was being malicious with his pranks. Sorry, rant mode disengaged. (I just got done watching DBZ again and Chichi always pisses me off, lol)

Hufflepuffs aren’t weak, easily scared, or soft, okay? They’re hardworking, patient, and loyal - and a mix of others. But people seem to think Hufflepuffs are weak or soft. It’s very unfair to this house, with its own great qualities.
