I'm interested in why he lied about when Lily and James died. What was the point? Additionally, as a mother I have to ask. I was worried all the time he was interviewing with the head of the academy. If Rob was waiting for him, I assume just outside the office, where was Harry? Also, are you planning on leaving the 'innuendo' in for the sake of the story as an element to play off of later, because, most dedicated, 'lifer', military, are very suspicious of two men living together, buying a home together, and raising a baby together. This academy seems to be a private school and as such, they hire and fire at will. They don't need proof of what many in their position would consider an 'impropriety' or 'deviant lifestyle', just a hint of rumor, and Matt would be fired and they couldn't do a thing about it.
Secondly, I would advise you to try to make your chapters a bit longer and cover more ground then they do. It's chapter 6 now, and at the start of the story it was October the 31st and it's now not even two weeks later. Really? Six chapters each less than 1500 words to get us less than a week later?

As Harry is not the BWL I don't think there will be much interest in where he is staying. At least LV is not in a position to go after another little boy.
