I have some questions about this scene:

"Knuckles had his face hidden from our view but I could very well see the tears rolling down his muzzle. "

1. When Knuckles cried, did his tears specifically roll down:
A: The bridge of his muzzle and onto the tip of his nose as he hung his head
or
B: The side of his muzzle diagonally and onto his lower jaw and chin

2. Exactly how would Knuckles react and what would he say to me if I hugged him, rubbed his back and licked those tears rolling down his muzzle with my tongue during the scene where he cried? Because every time I read that, I fantasize licking every last tear from Knuckles' muzzle.

3. Dumb question but on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the saltiest, how salty would Knuckles' tears taste on my tongue if I licked them directly from his muzzle?

4. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being freezing cold and 10 being scalding hot, how warm were those tears rolling down Knuckles' muzzle?

I know these questions sound weird but please please PLEASE reply back!

I loved it - this story was awesome. I adored everything from the main tense conflict of Dark Sonic and the suitably gruesome and scary description of the Devil-Demon, to the brilliantly subtle but present under tones of the ships and friendship :3

As you well know, I love the Dark Sonic concept, and you did an amazing job of conveying it. I especially like the fact that Eggman, again, warned Sonic and stopped him from letting the darkness from take over - I loved that moment in Sonic X, and it was great to see it reappear in this. Having the hatred build up through the scene was a great move - Sonic's sudden 180 degree turn is genuinely unsettling and leaves a worrying feeling, as even though it's great that the demon is defeated, you realize how Sonic has snapped. The others did a great job at bringing him back.

Shadow was awesome in this :3 He's awesome in everything, but you managed to get his sympathetic side just right - he's not annoying and butt-licking and un-Shadow-like, but he's mellowed and it's unrealistically closed off :) He's also a complete badass in this, and I love him :333

I am ashamed at my lack of Japanese-language knowledge: so, uh, I know kawaii and sugoi and hai. I guess that makes me miserably predictable, huh? xD I particularly liked the insults that were used, especially for Eggman - and I'm still in shock that there is a word that means "shit-drip" XD That is brilliant.

And, of course, the Sonamy was kawaiiiiiiii- ahem, I mean, cute ." I liked that it was subtly hinted at, throughout the whole thing, so that it didn't feel sudden or abrupt. The kiss was adorable and was a great ending :3 (The Silvaze was hinted at perfectly too, as Blaze's broken cry could be interpreted at friendship, but I saw romance, personally ;) )

Congratulations on this great oneshot: I thoroughly enjoyed it. It took me through all the great motions: humor, horror, suspense, romance. You should be very proud of yourself! _
