This... Okay when I review fan fics with topics or stories or characters that interest me, I have never fully admitted that they're bad. Sure, I sometimes tear some fics into pieces, but they always have some good qualities. The things that I tear to pieces, I usually give my advise on how to improve them. I tend to be as nice as possible to every single story that I come across and try to find the faults and how to fix it and compliment on the good stuff. Even the ones with horrible formatting tend to have some good writing on it.
This... I'm sorry this is just awful.
Okay, if you LOLed at the humor of this Dashie guy and he cracks you up. That's totally fine. Peoples have different sense of humor and I appreciate the diversity. But oh my god is he a pain in my nerves. I have never been truly legitimately hurt by fan fics before. This guy is really annoying. He's just not appealing to me.
Seriously, this guy guy whines his ass off of at a Game Stop employee. As someone who knows people who work and had horrible experience over at Game Stop, that's just insulting. This guy insults the Titans with very harsh words. He tells Robin to shut up even though he never shut up. He claims that he love the Titans despite the fact that he absolutely have no idea who they are at FIRST GLANCE.
He insults someone else's game preference. He, as a guest to someone else's house, knows no manners and plays with their toys by his own will. He flirts with girls in front of their boyfriends and implies that he will steal them. He insults Starfire's appearance (to which I'm surprised that she didn't blast him off with her starbolt after that disgusting insult). He insults Beast Boy (again, surprised that he didn't just turn into a Gorrilla and slam him down). And then he goes to Cyborg and just berates him. Jesus Christ.
Maybe that was a part of his character or his personality, to which I reply that doesn't make him any less annoying or infuriating.
You seriously do not use the fact that I didn't know the guy or didn't watch his videos as an excuse for writing bullshit because in the end, you're still going to write bullshit.
Also, Teen Titans Robin is a very strict and brooding guy just like Batman in a lot of ways. He would never EVER let strangers into the Teen Titans tower, let alone someone who causes disturbance at Game Stop. And I refuse to believe that Beast Boy or Cyborg had a sense of humor to a really crazy guy.
Going back to the Game Stop thing, why Game Stop of all places? Making a story about disturbing Game Stop employees is not funny. It's kind of depressing. Just last year, a police died on his duty fighting over peoples who were robbing Game Stop. Thanks for reminding me of that. :'(
I understand the issue of Writer's Block. We all can relate here. But still, I'm here to read and enjoy stuff, and what I get is unfortunately an uncomfortable pain. This is really painful, and to be honest it's just that one guy. If he's out, I guess it would be at least a tolerable fic, but this rather shameless insertion is just horrible. I'm sorry, but those are my two cents.
