Actually, canon doesn't say a thing about how Wizengamot seats are awarded. That means the "how" is up for grabs. The hereditary thing is fanon, and it is logical, seeing as magical society is at least a century behind the times, and in early times, such governmental positions were indeed hereditary. (As I understand it, that's still true today for some seats in the House of Lords.)

"Since school was still in session Harry could practice magic in front of people and not get reprimanded."
Isn't he already emancipated & considered legal to perform magic? I remember that being something that Harry put to test, earlier in the story, when he first practiced with the time distortion device. He did magic and didn't receive any trouble from the ministry. And the magic was also done in a muggle dwelling too.

You just killed the energy for this story. Snape hates harry since before he had ever met him. He's nothing more than an infantilized male, with childhood issues that he still carries to this day. And not only with his childhood rivals, but the son of said rival. Any adult whom ever displayed that level of idiocracy would never be around children and would also probably be locked up in a psych ward somewhere.

I just found this site on Reddit called Storio (storioai dot com). You can remix your old stories into playable format in minutes. I was surprised by how much faster it made writing for me.

Much better way of handling Dumbledore than most. You remembered the old adage: good intention do not always lead to good results.

Thanks for sharing your story. I really enjoyed it and it’s great. You actually did kind of an epilogue for it.

So anticlimatic... here's another suggestion, if you feel. Let Nagini and Voldemort die, when Harry ambushes him. And then Harry comes to know Voldemort is dead .. let him keep this secret from everyone...let Dumbledore not have the peace in death

Really enjoyed this different take on Harry taking control. However, he was far too patient with the Order and the way they treated him, I found myself almost yelling at him to tell them off. And as for Hermione's constant criticism, it was so annoying, especially as he never really told her to stop, it became tedious in the end.
