It’s great to see an update from you! I had actually found your story on AO3 and put it on my reading list, but haven’t gotten around to it yet, so now I have double the experience to look forward to when I do.
And honestly, I find this inspiring because I have my own story I’m working on that’s essentially a rewrite of what I had done previously, and it’s taking me a while to get it done.

Hey, it's lovely to see you active again, and I can't wait to read up on what you've cooked. Will likely migrate over to Ao3 myself, in regards to this story, but good luck on the revisions.

I had feared this story was abandoned. I'm overjoyed to hear it has been rewritten and is being continued. You've brought skyrm and the elder scrolls to life in a way that neither the games nor any other story has done before. You've crafted the world into something real, with characters that feel real and that I've grown to care for.
I'm looking forward to the new chapters and am forever grateful you've decided to continue this amazing story.

Welcome back man! This was one of those stories that I would just check up on or remember once every couple month because it was just so good. Honestly because it has the "fish out of water"/cultural exchange trope done so well. Even the inversion of it with Lydia going to Morrowind was an epic chapter. Good Luck, and one of the next things I remember looking forward to in this fic was our hero meeting or talking to Ulfric somehow. I hope i get to see that someday.

Wouldn't it be better to cure Serana of vampirism? Because if she died, wouldn't she go to Molag Bal's plan?
