I have to wonder also, how 'the smartest witch of her age' not only ended up with James, but went along, blissfully, with throwing away one of her sons and never contacting him again. Really? Especially when she knew how much Petunia hated her and her world, even if she thought Harry was a squib, she never checked on him once! Additionally, here she is trying to make it up to him and didn't even send him a Christmas gift after years of not even an 'We're alive but can't see just now' cards. Really? Smartest witch of her age who developed severe brain damage out of nowhere? I'm having the tiniest bit of trouble believing she's the cold-hearted,brain dead,'all-for-baby-Jimmykins and none for nasty Harry, Joan Crawford of a mother, she is made out to be here, without some kind of tampering.

I think I just feel in love with you! that last bet was the best thing I have ever seen. Neville Garn is my favorite person now. I should like to see her more often and maybe have her hex James. it would be lovely to have that happen.
it would be something if James try's to forcibly disinherit Harry, thus he sues the Potters for it and wins a good bit of money, as well the story gets out and ruined the Potter name.

I'm looking forward to dark Harry. I'm glad that James was put in his place after he tried to say he was a friend of Frank. I do wonder why McGonagall was looking at them like that.
