Very nicely done... tugging at my heart strings. I am sure the series will have Brennan supportive as well... at least I hope so. Thanks for sharing.

Great job with this oh-so-painful topic. I hate the pain that Booth's relapse is going to cause for both him and Brennan, but love that they've a real world issue to work through and we have an opportunity to see them shine and show their relationship won't break over a little (or lot) of adversity. As you've shown here, I'd expect Brennan to be pissed at Booth for the deception, but understanding of the fact that it's an addiction and he's going to need her support to pull out of it.

That is sad because as far as I know it's not going to happen over night. I think it takes a long time to get past an addiction.

That was beautiful. Thank you for writing! I can only hope the writers on the series resolve the situation as well as you did.

Well done. I think it might be a tough time for them, but I'm sure they will get through it.

I hesitated to read it, but I'm glad I did. It was heartfelt and honest. Addiction is not a pretty thing and it stakes its claim on many a good person. Although I do loved how you ended it, I would have loved to have Booth and Aubrey have that discussion. I can just Aubrey both sheepish and afraid that Booth is going to be seriously displeased and angry that Booth didn't answer leaving him high and dry. Aubrey being the practical sort would probably start the converstation with "look, I won't ask where you were last night or what you were doing, and you don't ask why I called your wife. Deal?"
Anyway, lovely one shot.

Brilliantly wrapped up story that doesn't completely evade angst, but doesn't make us (or B&B) wallow in it. After all, what is the story without them together? My take on this turn: they want to give Booth another chance to woo Brennan again. She's actually been more of the aggressor since they were together, and it's time for him to be totally in the game. Well done, you!
