Huh, I wondered if anyone would ever get around to pairing these two up-and now you have, good work. Surprisingly interesting take on how it could happen, too, with a nearly burnt out Shepard and a war-weary and scared Khalisah finding a surprising comfort in each other-in more ways than one. I always knew Khalisah had a heart, even before that little breakdown on the Citadel in ME:3 if you don't punch her.
That she'd fall for Shepard if she ever managed to get past her career drive armour is no surprise to me at all, at least for your version of him. She'd slap a Renegade Shepard if he tried it on, I do not doubt. Also, she's a far more interesting character than Diana Allers, who, last act introduction or not, seems to use her cleavage to get viewers a bit too much. Plus: "Creepy Turian fanmail"... If Khalisah ever got that sort of mail? She'd fire off a reply which would make Urdnot Wrex blink. Oh, and I love Jokers reaction to finding out just who Shepard spent the night with. You can practically hear him sniggering.
I'd almost like to see you continue this, just to see the Normandy team and crew's reactions to the relationship. I can hear Garrus's giving Khalisah "The shovel speech" already. If you do or don't, though? Keep up the good work.
