What a sweet story! It's good to see Hop Sing so involved with Adam's homecoming. And Hoss is so thoughtful. Very true to canon.

What a lovely peek into Hoss and Hop Sing's private moment. So sweet to see the worry that the Ponderosa wouldn't be big or exciting enough... that maybe *he* wouldn't be enough to keep his cherished older brother content and happy and willing to stay. And of course Hop Sing knew exactly the right thing to say to ease his fears. (I love Hop Sing... I wish more people would work him into stories.) Thank you!
