I know this fic hates to see me coming lmao. I'm back here for like 6th time rereading because this is the only HP fanfic that truly satisfies the itch. I love the way Slytherin is portrayed. I love Harry actually being treated like a character whose trauma is explored, and whose favoritism isn't ignored. I really wish there was a Fred or George fic that would reach the same level of quality as this one. Brava! I only wish to honor you by letting you know that this is my comfort fic <3

With all due respect, there is no fucking way she can figure out who halfblood prince in two seconds. How would she know about eileen prince? Snape is not going around talking about his mommy to his students even if it is lorena. Even if she knew, anyone with a big ego could call themselves a king, prince etc. If someone called themselves king of something as a nickname i wouldnt think king is their surname honestly. I know its her thing to be like “i know things i shouldnt be knowing cuz im too fucking smart” but it feels cheap at this point. She is not doing any digging, no effort, no mystery, no brainstorming for weeks, no getting new info and rethinking. It feels like she learns things before harry canonically does and somehow the plot does not change at all. This happened with fifth year too. She was like “i will look like i am in umbridges side to bring her down harder” and i waited something incredible to happen after all that waiting and plotting and the promise of something great. Then she made the glassware dance. Fred and george lit the fireworks anyways so umbridge was still shaken and lorenas disney songs werent different or necessary to the story in any meaningful way. Her snakes brought down umbridge for everything to go exactly as it does in canon. DA went to the ministry the same with the addition of lorena, nothing about the ministry part changed. Sirius died, prophecy got destroyed, death eaters went to azkaban, umbridge left hogwarts. Bc of lorena things happen differently but the result never changes. Only small things like ooh she has a prophecy ooh and she stole felix felicis (i bet it wont even change the plot that much) ooh voldy is obsessed with making her a trophy. I hope it gets better at least by the last year as there is more opportunity for interesting plot changes. I know these type of oc fanfics are just self insert type of fics so maybe i shouldnt expect much but i do as this is a 160 chapter fic. I also know the fic is already written and this rant is probably unnecessary but i feel like it needs the critisizm.

This is truly one of the best works of fiction I’ve ever read. It was so masterfully created and enthralling until the very end. It made me cry- and I DON’T cry- it made me laugh, it made me grin maniacally. You did a wonderful job with this along with the two other stories that worked in tandem with this. I ate them all up like a starving man at an all you can eat buffet. This story surprised me at many turns, and each was more exciting than the last!
