*Phew*. I wish I had more time to read these chapters, I had to split the thing during three days to finish it. Thanks the maker for the app so I don't miss out where I was when I need to take a break, and of course it's always a blast to read.

I was going to ask if you intentionally left Mihoshi out of getting paired with one of the Gundam pilots on purpose for this moment, since you were clearly trying to alleviate a bit of the harem load for Heero when you introduced them (which I admit was a refreshing change from typical harem crossover clichés). But I believe you, sometimes the stories and/or characters write themselves, and since it's the Tenchi Muyo universe we're talking about, a polyamorous relationship seemed kinda inevitable in the long run. I like that Heero actually considers the marriage from all the standpoints, including the very much needed support from the Kuramitsu clan in order to win the war against Kagato, as well as Ryoko's and Mihoshi's feelings on the matter, instead of just accepting or rejecting it on the spot because he leans towards either side. I'm also a little bit surprised that Ryoko accepted the arrangement so quickly, and is even willing to share him. Guess it would only be a problem if it was Ayeka, so it's fortunate that she has Quatre at this point. As for Mihoshi, given how innocent she usually is, it probably didn't even cross her mind to think about Heero in a romantic way, so maybe this was what she needed to think about and develop true feelings for him.

I admittedly haven't watched much of the latter Tenchi Muyo installments (I'm going to fix that now that I have some free time), so I don't know much about the characters who appear in them. Still, from the start I sensed a bad vibe on Misao. He reminds me a lot of Yuri from SpyxFamily, clearly having a sister complex, though at least he seems to have someone else in his life so maybe it doesn't go to THOSE levels. But he's definitely going to cause trouble for getting entangled with Kagato. I knew things were going TOO well with Mihoshi's relatives, so someone had to throw a wrench into the works. Here's hoping he won't pay the ultimate prize for this stupidity that could potentially spell doom for his family, the galaxy and the universe as a whole.

So, Kagato is still hellbent on bringing Heero to his side one way or another, doesn't he? At least that means he won't be in imminent danger of being killed and his henchmen will have their hands tied when dealing with him. Say, does the dagger that Ragyo gave Nagi have some sort of "failsafe" installed? Like... a bomb she could use to take out inconveniences like Heero's friends down the road? Negi seems to be aware that some deals may be too good to be true, and Kagato's only keeping her on a leash through money even though she clearly wants out. Last but not least, Tokimi finally shows up in person. Looking forward for her eventual encounter with Washu, even if it means all hell breaking loose.

Guess that's all. As always, great chapter. See you next time, and keep up the good work!

Awesome and keep up the good work man.

On one hand, I didn't see this coming any more than you did, but at the same time if it had to happen to anyone then at least it happened to Heero. He might not understand how difficult it'll be to keep them both happy (and there's a good reason why bigamy doesn't work IRL), but he'll work his hardest to do so while also not bending over backwards like a simp, and if anyone deserved any extra love then it would definitely be Heero.

NGL, I actually see the kidnapping actually succeeding, although I can also see Tokimi betraying Nagi and leaving her to die on Seniwa while she gets away with Heero, giving her plenty of opportunity to "check out" the one her contemporaries chose... and giving him plenty of opportunity to plant doubts in her mind even as he is delivered to be tortured/interrogated by Kagato as the rest rush in to rescue him. Would be the perfect trap that would allow him to get ahead of them to the final site.

Brava! BRAVA! I stumbled across this story as I was engaged in another one of your brilliant works last year (which I will wait patiently for an update), and I have been hooked to this ever since! I had a feeling of where you were going with this development since I read the opening interaction scene and, while I was in denial at first, your flexibility with letting the story carry you to a new challenge is truly inspirational and uplifting to see play out. Kudos for how you let this all unfold, especially with how much more...nuclear, certain reactions could have been. I cannot wait to see how this new dynamic develops!

Aside from that, brilliant chapter that made an awesome weekend even better! I'm salivating at the chance to see how the next chapter unfolds, but I'll be good and patient. Take care good sir, rest a bit, and Happy Easter!

Okay! This I like! And no offense, but I do see a possibility for another ally coming in at some point to assist if Kagato does get his hands on the Judgment Array. ;3 If you don’t mind me offering some ideas, that is. :)

I actually feel bad for Heero on this one. On the 1 hand 2 very beautiful girls are taking his hand and marriage on the other hand he has to deal with all the political bullshit and that's. Just not gonna be fun for him in any stretch of the imagination.

Duo and the others are never gonna let them live this down I can tell already.

It's weird that Washu is so concerned with getting to the judgment array, instead of coming up with countermeasures to neutralize it. She basically made a supernova in a gun form, considering that astrophysicist are under the assumption that Neutrinos are the cause of a star exploding when it collapses and collides with the matter below it. Of course gamma Ray radiation could also sterilize a planet.

Kagato already demonstrated a potential countermeasure in his fight with the galaxy police. A gravity generator that could turn into a black hole, could potentially absorb or even fling the the shot harmlessly off into space. Perhaps it's his countermeasure if others get to the array before him?

Also many if not all sc-fi writers have a hard time understanding the seer scope of a K2.5 civilization. Trillions? More like quadtrillions (to the power of) of people could be sustained by our sun alone in the form of a dyson swarm, or the more sc-fi version the dyson sphere. A planet wide city the size of earth, would be able to house quadtrillions of residents, easy.

A very nice, relationships development-centered chapter. Duo the Matchmaker is probably going to release the fireworks, now that all his Gundam buddies seem to have been hooked up.

For starters, Sasami is finally being more forward with Trowa. She demonstrated her feelings for him more times in this chapter than in any so far. The talk they had at her secret place was a very interesting one too, for it brought up a common trait between them; Sasami's self-identity doubts (is her personality her own or Tsunami's?) somehow reflect Trowa's past ones (since he adopted the original Trowa Barton's identity). His past experience will be important in order to support Sasami along her journey.

I'm curious though about how their relatioship will work in the future; Trowa clearly sees Sasami only as a child for now and we don't know how long it'll take for her to become an adult (she's been a child for centuries by now). Trowa doesn't have Juraian blood like Heero, so he may be an old man (or even dead) by the time Sasami becomes an adult. Unless, of course, somewhere in the future Tsunami makes Sasami go through a growth spur and Trowa may start seeing her under a different light.

And I knew it! Kiyone does have some interest in Wufei. It took a while to show up, but it finally happened. Knowing Wufei's action-seeking personality, he's more likely to accept Kiyone's offer to join the Galaxy Police than Heero. Kiyone has this 'tough action girl' look that seems to attract Wufei (just like Sally did in canon), so I think those two would get along.

I also like the depth of Quatre and Ayeka's talk. The parallels between Earth's old regime and the Jurai Empire, and the fact that Ayeka is thinking of future reforms shows how much her time at Earth has changed her. I just feel sorry for Quatre due to the enormous responsability Ayeka is asking of him. To think they're supposed to be taking a relaxation day and all of sudden she drops such a bomb on him...

His mention of Relena brings up an interesting future scenario; by the time the revelation of extraterrestrial life is made to Earth (and the plot shifts back to our world), Relena will probably make her appearance. And that's when Heero will have to introduce her to a very jealous and possessive Ryoko :) Hope you update it soon!

Long waits for long chapters, but they never disappoint. The downside is that I'm busy with college and work lately, plus many stories I follow updated this week, so my read was slower than usual. Apologies for that.
But anyway, the chapter was great, and you never cease to amaze me on how much you put in a single chapter. Starting out with Heero and Ryoko training together, I think it's a good way to bring them closer, on top of helping each other draw more of their powers, which they'll definitely need in the near future. Of course, they're not the only ones who're getting closer, and while Quatre and Ayeka are still my favorite secondary couple in this story (loved their chat, it's their best one so far), it's nice to see some sparks flying between Trowa and Sasami, as well as Wufei and Kiyone. Those two could definitely use a relationship that brings out their better sides. I don't think Catherine will be disapproving of Sasami, barring potencial age-gap issues, but given Wufei's past story, he may be much harder to open up to Kiyone. Only time will tell.
Last but not least, I have to admit I'm a sucker for beach chapters, and this story was long overdue for one. Even if it came after a failed assassination attempt (a laughable one, granted), the cast sometimes needs to chill out and relax. A break before the conflict resumes will do wonders for them.
Now Mihoshi's family comes into the fold too. The next chapter is surely going to be interesting. Keep up the good work, and until next time.

Mobile suits are dramatically superior to fighters and if they rely on electromagnetic movement systems like servos, then they are not too much more expensive.

Their main advantages are their ability to rotate in place swiftly, especially in void combat, and their limbs’ ability to move independent of the body’s orientation like on a real person. This allows for extremely rapid alignment of shots to any direction and very high evasion capability. As well as their armor and ability to carry physical shields, booster packs, and mounted weaponry. Plus, they are just as viable in air, ground, sea, space, and even inside space colonies all without needing to buy significantly different war machines and therefore heavily alleviates the cost of production and logistics. Though specialized mobile suits exist, they are for this reason used as a sort of elite reserve rather than a primary force.

I know what you mean by needing a vacation... working two jobs, streaming, and university keep me very busy. Wishing you the best, though, and hoping you'll get some time off soon.

It was definitely nice to see the crew get a moment's rest, especially at this junction since not only do they have to raid one more repository (which is about where I expect Tokimi to manifest herself and power up Kagato) but also have the final, climactic clash at the Array itself. Doubt they'll get a chance to rest between the two events beyond the few quiet moments they'd be able to get on the ship in lightspeed...

I wonder if Heero truly doesn't realize that Cathrine is Trowa's sister, though. I doubt Trowa knows for certain, but he definitely sees her as family nonetheless. I'm curious as to how you will write his relationship with Sasame, though; I think that, in one of the stories, she was asleep for a number of centuries, so she didn't even get to experience life and mature how one might expect from that much time.
10/23/2022 c27 13Beowolf 43
On the one hand Sasami and Trowa is cute, on the other His higness might enter papa wolf mode and send the royal guard after the Gundam pilot... Omake fuel aside, I have a very funny feeling that things arent going to go as smoothly here as in the canon, and we both know that 'smooth' was the last thing that comes to mind with that train wreck.

So popping the popcorn and the soda cans, this is gonna be good
