"Father, what are you and Fraulein Maria doing on the kitchen floor?" - I LOL-ed so hard at this.
I loved this - so satisfying. :) I particularly love the little choice words/phrases Georg uses on Maria ("exasperatedly groaned", "uh... in the dark?") It puts such a fun spin on their romance - I've always thought Georg and Maria would tease each other senseless (that is, before moving on to other... things, that would undoubtedly render them senseless ;).

Very, very cute! At first I wasn't sure where in the timeline of the movie it was, but I really like the direction and you took it in. And Liesl not letting them off the hook was really funny. Nice job. :)

This is just too cute and funny. Georg trying to be all macho and embarrassing himself and Maria in the process. I am also very impressed with the speed that you managed to get this baby up after the prompt was put on proboards!

What an adorable way for the news to come out.
As I was reading this I was trying to work out exactly where you put it timeline-wise. First I thought post-marriage, then I thought it might be engagement, I even suspected AU and pre-intermission. But nope! None of them.
