Just realized this but, besides Danny being 'obsessed' about protecting Amity Park, Danny is actually more obsessed about hiding his identity: Sam and Tucker don't count since they witnessed his transformation and accepted him since the beginning, and ghosts knowing he's an halfa doesn't count either since they don't react the same way humans do but it took him a while to trust Jazz enough to do so and with Vlad you can see how much they wish to maintain this fact hidden. In fact when Phantom was created it may have been done to maintain his Fenton persona so he could appear normal to act as if nothing ever happened. He's obsessed about maintaining a normal life, as normal as his condition allows it. He's so worried about it he even changed the past when his parents and the town found out who he was and accepted him, because in the end he doesn't want all that attention... and while they have found out who he his, he'll change it back to the way it is in present as long as the option exists

I could just imagine Danny getting caught while Trying to freeze off the collar. It's like:
"Why were you trying to get rid of the collar?"
"I had to." Stated Danny with agitation, "I need to."
"Were you trying to get it off so that you could use your powers without consent?"

Feeling bad for Danny and his collar TT_TT The students should side him and try to give him a hand, even if by only taking his side over the ministry (or at least the students that don't mind muggles)
Love american dragon thought haven't read any fic about it yet... trying to find the right mood for me to read it I guess since I usually go by phases of sorts. But it does seem like an interesting crossover indeed xD still, I'm glad this story will have the priority

I want to strangle Vlad and Fudge so badly. Those little, demonic assholes. Hopefully Fudge will realize Danny is NOT evil soon. I'd especially enjoy it if Danny said "I would suggest something else but I can't since you took away the one thing that would make this painless". Yes I am hinting at amputation. Sorry if this sounds like a demand. I just want Fudge to get his dignity and pride wounded to the point he would cry or something.
