I like how deep you develop their characters. I really enjoy it. I hope that I could read more. I really hope you can develop Seifer and Rinoa’s bond. Well I am not expecting a romance there but I guess a slight bit of ‘freedom’ of Seifer could mean a lot to her. Your story has a lot potential to tell about Seifer and Rinoa even though I really like RinoaxSquall. But you have a great way to develop Seifer’s character so much that he is not as despicable as other stories. Actually I also like Kurse as well and I hope that you continue both stories. Really, looking forward for them.

I really liked your story. The parts where the monsters/animals were peaceful around Rinoa was great. You tied things together nicely. Thoughtful, emotional, and succinct. Enjoyable. I like your FF8 stuff.

I love this so much! The first portion for the intensity with Rinoa's sorceress powers and her relationship with Squall. And the second part for exploring the dynamic between Seifer and Rinoa (and Squall too for the parts he was in). The magic bits all make sense to me (I mean Rinoa has how many people's powers inside her? She should be a little scary and have some moments of darkness, at least that's how I picture it). Also a fan of Kurse, looking forward to seeing more from you in the FF8 world hopefully. :)

... Second and final part of this fic my ass. how can we not get a follow up? though you have managed to give it a proper and nice end. but i still want more. (yes i know i am being selfish but.)
i must say though, your portray of Seifer is awesome, just as awesome as your portray of Zidane and Dagger (my think how stupid it be if it was the Gladius she picked up:) but i digress. i love how you capture his essence, and you make me truly feel like i need to get around and finish Final Fantasy VIII.
and i am lost for words again. anyway, it would be nice to hear about what went down that hour of free time next Wednesday. Also, there must have been some "consequences" of Riona's and Squall's... "nightly experience" in the forest in the last chapter, when will we here any more about that?
and on that Bombshell, it truly was a pleasure reading from you again. (i became really happy from this) but now its 4am so i should sleep.

Fun fact: since the previous chapter, whenever I'm eating a potato or something I count how many times I chew. Thanks, SeeD.
Somehow it's easy for me to picture Seifer with a beard. I get some kinda Jaime Lannister vibe off him I guess, haha. At any rate I loved his appearance in the pit. The way you presented him and his SeeD upbringing, nothing else could make sense-where else would he be? His cheeky conversation with Rinoa was spot-on and funny, and I about died when Squall first saw him.
And then I love what Rinoa did with him! She still gets her way, after all. I say it a lot but it's always true; this was a treat to read. Thanks for sharing it!

Oh gosh, the end was so unexpected but so...perfect. I love reading Squinoa stories for that simple fact. I adore seeing the way people write them together, write their dynamic together and considering what I just finished reading of yours, I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed.

WOWOWOW This is so good. I just really love the way you describe Sorceress powers. I think it's unique and I just really love the idea that Rinoa is like attuned with nature and how the monsters/animals react to her. Like I think the concept you did is really cool because I guess Hyne is like everywhere he's "god" and as a Sorceress Rinoa is a descendant from him blah blah blah. I'm sure you knew that already but I just really loved where you went with it.

Gawd, Odine is the weird kind of terrifying.
Rinoa and Squall's relationship is hard to wrap one's head around-it's just raw and irrational, almost a form of magic on its own, and this fic is amazing for exploring some of the (many, weird, scary) nuances of being/dating a sorceress. Big props for taking into account the nightmarish political repercussions (because nobody thinks about it but it's TOTALLY relevant to everything in Garden.)
I loved the scene in the training center, with the tranquil monsters and that dawning awe and bewilderment. It paid off great in the end. Very nice one-off!

"Without writing a multi-chapter fic" is what you said, but how can you not end up making a second chapter to this? No idea when but i am Sure you will write a new chapter to this (I mean, seriously, there has to be some repercussions of that final act ;J )
but man, this fic makes me realize i really need to finish FFXIII.
and as always its a great fic (: i really like it (especially the juicy end :D

I really like this. What I enjoyed most was the sense of subtle dread building up throughout. I'm never quite sure if Rinoa is reliable or not. The uncertainty is perfect. I'm also glad to see the Garden perspective on the care and feeding of sorceresses being considered reasonably - Odine is not the only scientist in the world, right?
