Boy, this was a nice one. The dialogue between them sounded very true to their natures, at least when Leroy is in a gentle mood. He knew one of his surrogate children needed to hear from him.
I did think Jack might have reprimanded teenage Leroy when he gave him an sarcastic reply, but perhaps he thought it might be more important to let that slide so he could get to the heart of the problem. Jack was always a wise father, something he did pass on to his son.

Very nice. It's a good thing Gibbs understands Tony so well. He makes a good substitute father for the younger man. If Tony didn't respect him so well, he wouldn't have respected the advice either.
