While it is doubtful that you’ll ever return to writing this, which is fine, I still can’t help be wonder what could be with after that cliff hanger. As it would be interesting that this intense interaction between Kate and Humphrey to be punctuated with the rest of the pack to arrive on the scene to witness this, only for Humphrey to get found out by Winston and/or Eve. Which follows with Kate getting found out on what she did, and Humphrey leaves anyway as he can’t stand to be in the same pack as Kate. With a foreboding ending that shows the consequences of Kate’s actions in that she forever ruined a once happy soul in her selfishness and pride whilst Humphrey has moved on, but somehow found himself into a darker path that has not certainty of being any better.
