This is really exceptionally written. I love the way I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by the ending because I really thought it was not going to be a happy ending for them. I had psyched myself up for that stinging sadness that we all still kinda enjoy just a bit with those non-HEA's, but you pulled it back into such sweetness so effortlessly.

This is such a great story! You really captured all of the potential hope and disappointment the word almost can carry, especially in a relationship, so well I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster. (and I mean that in the best possible way)

Another fantastic piece from you. I see this as a story of Hermione and Tom overcoming their own demons, in terms of what they wanted to achieve and the method, and what they were willing to tolerate in each other. Yes, Hermione’s demons were decidedly less evil than Tom’s, but Tom was so right about how restrictive it was and how she was wasting away. Your writing is just so hauntingly beautiful or amazingly light hearted, depending on the theme. I hope you write many many more stories. Thanks.

Okay so if im not mistaken, the parchment/letter of his from greece is a hocrux? Like his diary? So thst is why hermione can sort of communicate with him through it in the end?

The ending is so specific and I know there’s a reason why. Why did the post card go blank? Did he split his soul? Did he die? Did he not love her anymore? Did she go and then he killed her? Did they actually have a happy ending? Pleeeease explain.
PS can’t believe I didn’t read this while waiting for you to finish unsphere the stars, which to this day is one of the best pieces of writing I’ve ever found.
