This chapter was very curious. I was hoping for an introduction to Katrielle, and here it is. Everything was very adorable, I think that's the only thing I can say about it. Not that that's a bad thing. I liked how you described Lilly's thoughts as a mother as very worrying because that's very normal, and it hit home to me. Not that I'm a mother, hahaha. Also, agh, Luke and Flora.

Oh, poor Lilly. Poor Claire, too. I can't stand seeing people sick, I want to break the screen and pat Lilly and Claire in the heads. But this was a good learning experience (as if they were real...) for both of them; now Lilly knows not to "cry wolf" and Claire knows not to be quick to mistrust and maybe check the facts. As always, good work!

Yay! You updated! Anyways, I love Lucy being the one to fix Lilly and Alfendi's mess. Hm, I want to give an idea for you... Ah! What about Lilly getting in trouble for sneaking out and Alfendi covering for her? I feel like that'd be something that would happen and Al would threaten to blackmail her for some time. Anyways, it's kind of horrible, I know, but already done.

Have you heard the news about the new game, starring Layton's daughter (who he forgot to mention), Katrielle Layton? I'm curious to see if she'll be incorporated into the story... but if not, it's still nice to see the other Layton kids interacting :)

Just to let you know this is the same guest that asked you the question about Alfendi. I just wanted to sign since I love your stories and love to review. Anyways, this chapter was very realistic, in terms of Lilly's reaction. And it was very sweet that she missed Emmy. Oh, last thing, in the paragraph where Lilly pulls the suitcases, you did repeat "barely knew her". It wasn't a major thing, but just to let you know. But apart from that, the chapter is great, but I expected no less. Have fun in your vacation and, unless you're where I am, rain can't last forever, eh?

It's nice to see Lilly's take on the Curious Village events, even if she didn't St Mystere. It's interesting and understandable why she wouldn't want to go after what happened in the past. I liked the references to AL and I hope Lilly gets on with Flora.
