I really was expecting Lilly to accompany Layton to St Mystere! But this is a really interesting change. Of course she'd be reluctant to travel with him after all the chaos with the Azran. I like the references she made to their previous adventures, even if they haven't been shown yet. I wonder how she'll take to Flora now.

Let me start on the right foot here by saying, wow, this story is brilliant! The plot and relationships between characters are really interesting.
But I'm confused, and you'll probably write more (I hope) and explain, but how come Lilly is younger than Alfendi? I mean I think that Lilly is the Professor's first-born daughter, so Alfendi would have to be adopted. Which is my original theory, but I don't know how it fits with this story.
Oh, and the timeline is also brilliant, everything's brilliant and amazing and great!

A true writer, in my opinion, writes stories and writes them from deep down whether it be from the top of your head or the deepest tunnel within the heart. It only matters that they get it done, no matter how long it takes them to write a chapter or a finale to the story.
No matter how short or lengthy a chapter is, it's still a chapter and I think this is a very good fanfiction.
I think this chapter isn't that short at all! Lilly and Professor Layton's interactions were sweet and quite endearing and I love the Professor and I love Lilly, I'm sad that Claire is dead though. :(

This was a nice yet serious chapter compared to the others. Oh no, I didn't know I reviewed twice! Sorry about that!
It was nice of Claire to send a letter to Lilly, when she was going through her own form of emotional berating and so on. It just proves that Claire still cared from wherever she was.
This was a sweet mother-daughter chapter, despite the lacking of the mother, and I must say that this was such a sweet chapter.
Please update soon and I can't wait to see more.

I use the term 'godsister' all the time when I refer to my godmother's daughters.
I am also a firm believer that Brenda and Clarie would be friends, so this chapter made me extremely happy x

Awwww, I loved this chapter. Its a shame you haven't played AA vs PL yet because I highly recommend it. Its a good game to me.

Firstly, throwing Alfendi and Lucy as a married couple into the story literally made my day. I feel like I need more lucifendi in my life.
Secondly, Lilly being pregnant, the link to Spectrum, and the bit about both Lilly and the father of the baby being criminals leads me to think that Clive is the daddy, and now I cannot help but ship them.
Just needed to say that :)
