First of all I really like what you have set up here and really want you to continue this I am a little confused about why Dick would need to take classes from Slade just because Slade is a recruiter especially ones about guns (though I know he refused) because he is a gymnastics recruiter. Also pleas e explain what damian was right about I am not quite getting that it wasn't explained very well. Longer chapters wouldn't hurt. So is this going to be a Sladin or apprentice fic? Do batman and robin even exist in this fic? I only ask because they haven't been mentioned just some things to possibly throw in there.
