Oh my God, I think I almost cried(which is a compliment). I definitely would have if I wasn't in public right now. The story was short but it was still had an impact, though it would have been awesome to see the battle that led to Peters ultimate end. Regardless of that I really liked this story!

... My heart had shattered and turned into dust. I can't stop crying because I really thought for so long now that Peter was going to live but no this happens. This had just killed that little hope. But overall I love this short Fanfic, it was good and I hope you write more stories in the future.

I was a bit sad that your summary said people were disappointed this wasn't a Peter/Natasha fic. Its a beautiful piece just showing off why Spidey is Marvel's flagship character. This is totally something he would do, not out of love or a sense of duty but simply because thats who he is.
Not going to lie tho, if you hadn't mention this specifically isn't a Peter/Natasha fic, its easy to mistaken it as one.
