Adulthood is doing whatever you can without being too exhausted to enjoy some of it. I'm paraphrasing obviously but, I feel that.
Jiraiya needs a good kick in the pants, seriously. For the way he treated Naruto alone. And if doing something about Jiraiya was going to make Shikaku so popular at home, why didn't he do it himself? Probably for the popularity reasons mentioned I suppose.

She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that the best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person who reads this letter on Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly,by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on this site and she will haunt someone else who doesn’t. This isn’t fake, apparently, if you copy and paste this to ten comments in the next 10 minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. xdsa

I love it. And I LOVE Jiraiya feeling the feelings of disgust, loathing, fear, resentment, despair, and anxiety that he inflicts on the women and young women he peeps on. I hate peepers. It's nasty and slimy. If you wanna stare, you ask for goddamned permission BEFORE HAND. And apologize if you see something on accident. Bare freaking minimum one should be willing to studiously ignore a wardrobe malfunction and find some subtle way to notify the victim without calling attention to it.

I feel like that seal should be called something like 'the emotional sledgehammer' seal or along those lines.
Shikaku is a wise man to leave Sakura as a tribute for his wife.
