I'm sorry I did that now as I have been reading this at every bit of time for the last week. You have done really well at not downplaying Mercer's power growth, but keeping his charter intact, even with the gender switch.

I laughed my ass off when both alternative discord and current discord referenced 2 bosses from MGS3.
This ending was beautifully(all 3 books in fact) written and deserves more attention, I'm literally gonna cry and not do anything for a month or 2 when this series end...honestly the longest running series I have ever read. I'm just...at lost for words right now for what you have created.
You deserve a long break, but hopefully not like a one year break( but it's up to you) or anything like that.
Keep up the great work and rest easy my friend.

Holy balls, that was one hell of a twist. Did you do that on purpose? It almost feels the end of Inception, where it cut out before it showed the spinning top falling or not. So, is that what happened, or is that a 'what if'? Is what we saw really an alternate world, or the same world but a different timeline, considering you made it very possible here, and Emerald realized it I think, that her former self could have very well killed Twilight, only for an alternate future Discord to have altered her mind at the moment it happened? Are you going to confirm this, or leave it up in the air for us to argue over?
